Working stock dog board and train

We will be offering working stock dog board and trains for working dogs of any age including puppies that have had at least two puppy vaccinations. We can assist with starting pups through to advancing older dog’s skills. We tailor our board and trains to the needs and skill level of the dog and owner.

What do our board and trains involve?

• Introduce pups to basic stock work and obedience/manners
• Correct problem behaviours in teenage or adult dogs on stock
• Advance adult dog stock work and obedience skills
• Working dog essentials - kenneling/crating, lead training, tethering, manners etc.
• Sheep, goats and cattle training available - dependent on dog’s age and skill level, and owner requirements

Who is this service suitable for?

• Small hobby farmers through to larger scale farmers, station hands and stock persons who currently use or want to use stock dogs
• Handlers who want their working dogs training kept up or advanced over an extended period or if going away
• New handlers who’ve just bought a working puppy or dog and want help starting their education
• Handlers that are unable to access suitable stock to introduce their pup/dog
• Handlers who are time poor or inexperienced - you want to train you’re dog but don’t have the time or knowledge/skills
