Akheron Kelpie Stud is in the early stages of development and as such, no litters are to be expected yet. Our stud will aim to breed purebred working Kelpies with good health, stable temperaments and exceptional working ability. Our stud is registered under the name Akheron with the Working Kelpie Council of Australia. Our litters will only be suited for working homes with some sporting homes considered.
Cerberus (registered name Gentle Approach Cerberus) is our purebred WKC registered dog available for stud services to purebred WKC registered bitches of quality working ability, health and temperament. He is a large, well built dog with a very friendly and stable temperament. He is silent and hard biting with plenty of force and natural presence. Naturally heads and droves. He can work sheep, goats and cattle in paddocks and yards but is more suited to cattle mustering type work. He is a very high drive working dog and his pups will NOT be suited for pet homes. His Dog Breeding Science working dog core panel and Embark DNA health results are all clear. He is also clear of colour dilute alopecia.
